General call for proposals 2008The Trust for Civil Society in Central & Eastern Europe (CEE Trust) announces an open Call for proposals promoting the development of civil society in Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia, and a thematic Call for proposals in Poland.  

The CEE Trust is inviting interested and qualified non-profit, non-governmental organizations, expert groups, coalitions, and education institutions to submit letters of intent in the following areas:
 Accountability of public institutions
 Civic Engagement and Community Mobilization
 Solidarity in Social Life
 Supportive environment for civil society. 

In HUNGARY priority will be given to proposals addressing corruption. 

The Letters of Intent should be clearly related to the mission and objectives of the CEE Trust.  The CEE Trust reserves the right to accept or reject any or all letters of intent and will notify all applicants of the outcome of the call for Letters of Intent assessment.Letter of Intent and Project Application Form must be submitted electronically (via e-mail only) by but not later than on October 27, 2008, to the following addresses:
